Prague, 15 March 2018 – Interest in historical vehicles and classic cars is growing all over the world and more than one car manufacturer has recently announced its plan to sell factory-refurbished classic cars. Mercedes-Benz of Germany, for instance, has been selling these cars for some time now under the All Time Stars brand. Classic cars are now to be offered to Czech customers by Mototechna Classic from the AURES Holdings group, the operator of the AAA AUTO car centre network.
2. March 2018Shortest month of the year sees fewer and newer vehicles
Prague 2 March 2018 – A total of 98,508 vehicles were offered for sale to customers in all regions of the Czech Republic in the second month of this year. These cars were most commonly priced at CZK 138,000. The vehicles for sale in February were slightly newer than in January, with the age falling from 9.6 years to 9.4 years. The number of kilometres on the clock fell by 300 km, to 155,000 kilometres. AAA AUTO, which has monitored the used car market constantly for several years, has started to use a different data processing method. Instead of average values it takes the so-called median into consideration, which has a higher interpretive value and characterises the used car market even more accurately.

Prague, 28 February 2018 – AAA Auto International, a.s., the company which operates the AAA AUTO international network of car dealerships, is changing its name to AURES Holdings, a.s. on 1 March 2018. In renaming itself, the company wants to draw attention to the wider range of activities performed by the group, which, apart from its used car business, is also engaged in other areas relating to the provision of comprehensive mobility solutions.
22. February 2018AAA AUTO Brand Wins Prestigious Superbrands Award for 2018
Prague, 22 February 2018 – AAA AUTO has won the prestigious Superbrands award for the second time. The awards were handed out for the fifth time following their revival in the Czech Republic; they have been awarded globally since 1994. The aim of the assessment is to identify brands with an excellent position on the local market. Superbrands awards are only won by brands that undergo a multi-round assessment including, in addition to other things, consumer research by the agency GfK.

Prague, 15 February 2018 – At the Regional Meeting for Major Business Topics and Entrepreneurs from Central Bohemia and Prague, prepared by the CZECH TOP 100 Association, nearly 130 representatives of companies and individual entrepreneurs gathered from both regions. The host of the meeting was the dealer of lightly used cars, Mototechna, a member of the AAA AUTO group. Since the most important representatives of the automotive sector reside in Central Bohemia and Prague, the key topic was company mobility.

Prague, 6 February 2018 – There were over 114 thousand used cars offered for sale in the Czech Republic in January and over one third of these were imported. Their price was an average of CZK 129,500. The age of the offered vehicles ranged around 9.6 years with a mileage of 155,300 km. AAA AUTO, which has continuously monitored the used car market for several years, has switched to a new method of data processing. Instead of average values, it takes the so-called median into consideration, a value that has a much higher evidential value and characterises the used car market more accurately.

Prague, 31st January 2018 – The AAA AUTO Group traded 75,400 vehicles in Central Europe last year and will now provide customers with even easier ways to buy and sell vehicles with a new innovation. The programme will be unified under the patronage of the AuresLab Innovation Laboratory.
10. January 2018Nearly new vehicles on the Czech market are getting newer and newer, with fewer kilometres on the clock and stable price
Prague 10th January 2018 – The most expensive and newest nearly-new used cars are offered by companies in the Karlovy Vary Region, half of these were priced at over 606,000 Czech crowns last year. The least expensive were offered by businesses in the Plzeň and Olomouc regions and surprisingly also in Prague (at an average price of CZK 425,000). Private sellers made up only about six per cent of vendors in this vehicle segment. These are the results of the continuous market monitoring carried out by the Mototechna Company.
4. January 2018Best-selling used car of 2017 was silver hatchback with manual gearbox
Prague, 4 January 2018 – The AAA AUTO International Company sold 75,372 vehicles last year across the entire group, of which 46,744 were sold in the Czech Republic. The firm is the second biggest car dealer in the country after Skoda Auto. The title of most popular used car variant was again held by the silver hatchback with petrol engine, which won the popularity stakes for the third year running following the long-standing earlier domination of the market by estate models. Last year’s sales were led by vehicles with a manual gearbox, two-wheel drive and performance output of 70-85 kW. These are the results of the AAA AUTO Index annual analysis of best-selling used car specifications.
