AAA AUTO Group Records Sales Growth of 16.2% in H1 2012

Praha / Budapest, 10 July 2012 – Sales of AAA AUTO Group grew by 16.2% yoy in H1 2012. The growth has been registered on all markets, where the company operates. On the Czech market with an increase of 11.5%, on the Slovak market by 13.4% and the Russian market was by 68.7% higher than in 1Q 2012.

AAA AUTO Group sold a total of 25,841 cars in H1 2012, of which 18,341 were sold in the Czech Republic, 6,565 cars in Slovakia and 935 cars on Russian market. "Prague with its vicinity remains the strongest regional marketplace with 3,229 cars sold in Q2 to customers at Prague and residing in Prague region," stressed Karolína Topolová, company deputy CEO.

This historically AAA AUTO most successful region is followed by Moravia, Northern and Eastern Bohemia which constitute the traditionally strongest regions in terms of sales in the Czech Republic. "Even though the results in the Czech Republic are very optimistic, we stay a bit cautious in terms of future estimates," said Topolová.

The situation in the Slovak Republic was also very successful for AAA AUTO in Q2: "In Slovakia, we see amazing and continuous strong growth," commented Topolová. Car centres that registered there the highest sale increase yoy were the ones in Košice, Banská Bystrica and Lučenec.

On Russian market sales increased by 68.7% qoq and total volume of sold cars in H1 achieved 935 units. "We expect up to 50% additional growth after launch of new leasing products," said Topolová.
